JOB VACANCY - LAB TECHNICIAN

About the role

This position is in the Laboratory department, with a job grade of Assistant/Executive and reports to the Laboratory Manager.

Qualifications

To be qualified for this role, you should have a Diploma in Chemistry or Chemical Technology, with either no experience as a fresh graduate or 1 year of related experience.

Skills

• Laboratory skills
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Responsibilities

• Assist in sample registration upon their arrival at the laboratory whenever necessary
• Carry out testing of samples
• Ensure that all machines and instruments are properly cleaned and well maintained
• Assist in monitoring inventory level
• Assist in equipment calibration and maintenance
