About the role
Retina Health Center is looking for Ophthalmology professionals as well as people that are looking to make a career change and would like to join our fabulous growing team.
Responsibilities
- Work with ophthalmologists to provide patient care by performing many different eye-related clinical functions.
- Help care for patients by taking histories, performing various procedures and tests, and preparing patients to see the doctor.
- Provide the ophthalmologists with important information to help diagnose and treat patients.
Requirements
- Previous experience in healthcare and/or customer service.
- Excellent customer service skills are a must!
- Strong organizational skills, with an ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of a certified ophthalmic assistant program.
- Current Florida Ophthalmic Assistant License.
Skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office.

Pay
Competitive salary based on experience.
Schedule
This is a full-time position located in [Fort Myers, Fl]. Travel to both locations as necessary.
