About the role

Retina Health Center is looking for Ophthalmology professionals as well as people that are looking to make a career change and would like to join our fabulous growing team.

Responsibilities

  • Work with ophthalmologists to provide patient care by performing many different eye-related clinical functions.
  • Help care for patients by taking histories, performing various procedures and tests, and preparing patients to see the doctor.
  • Provide the ophthalmologists with important information to help diagnose and treat patients.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in healthcare and/or customer service.
  • Excellent customer service skills are a must!
  • Strong organizational skills, with an ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Completion of a certified ophthalmic assistant program.
  • Current Florida Ophthalmic Assistant License.

Skills

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office.

Pay

Competitive salary based on experience.

Schedule

This is a full-time position located in [Fort Myers, Fl]. Travel to both locations as necessary.
