Job Summary

Get paid to look for work! We are seeking a (Part Time) Job Developer for our Employment Services program in Snohomish County. The ideal candidate will have a passion for empowering individuals with disabilities to achieve meaningful employment opportunities.

About the Role

You will play a pivotal role in establishing, building, and maintaining partnerships with local businesses with the goal of matching employer needs to suitable client skills and interests.

Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain relationships with local businesses to identify employment opportunities
  • Develop and implement employment plans for individuals with disabilities
  • Assist clients in identifying and securing employment opportunities that align with their skills and interests
  • Provide support and guidance to clients throughout the job search process
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless service delivery

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Clear criminal history and pass a background check
  • Licensing and Certifications: CPR/First Aid license (paid by SA), current driver license, car, and car insurance
  • Bachelor’s degree in Social Services or closely related field or 2 years successful experience in report writing or employment plan writing for individuals with barriers to employment
  • Experience helping people with barriers meet their needs
  • Sales/Marketing experience preferred

Preferred Qualifications

  • Currently have or within 30 days of being hired CPR/First Aid license (paid by SA)
  • Current driver license, car, and car insurance
