Job Developer
Responsibilities
Maintain knowledge of the Philadelphia District Attorney’s Office, Philadelphia Defenders Association, Philadelphia Criminal Municipal Court, PDDC Philadelphia Department of prisons, BCC/DOC.
Collaborate to provide job search and job placement activities such as unsubsidized employment, unpaid work experience, and Community Service opportunities.
Use assessment results and software for customized job development, matching, and placement.
Identify employers open to hiring clients with a criminal background with potential job openings.
Develop job leads for clients with area second chance employers.
Set up interviews with employers.
Develop ongoing relationships with second-chance employers.
Meet and develop relationships with D&R clients needing employment.
Engage D&R clients in the direction of employment.
Requirements
Associate degree and/or a minimum of 3 years of job placement experience necessary.
Demonstrated ability to problem solve and collaborate with a variety of customers in the Diversion and Re-entry Industry.
Personal vehicle preferred.
Valid driver’s license and insurance needed.

Pay
The base pay for this position ranges from $39,000 to $46,500 and will vary based on factors such as skills and experience.
