About the role

Our client specializes in the hauling of heavy equipment, over-dimensional loads and wind turbines throughout the United States and Canada. They are a leading provider of integrated logistics solutions to world-class businesses in the rail, energy and manufacturing industries, with a focus on continuous improvement, performance and operational excellence. The company employs over 2,000 people and operates in 64 port terminals across Canada and the United States.

Responsibilities

• Operate CDL A truck transporting oversized/heavy haul loads, including heavy equipment, over-dimensional loads and wind turbines.
• Assist with offloading of shells/equipment when required, including at California destinations.
• Follow assigned runs: New York → California → Texas → New York.
• Complete pre‑employment test, interview and road test in Fort Wayne (cost covered by client).

Requirements

• Valid CDL A license.
• Minimum 2 years of experience hauling oversized loads.
• Experience with over‑dimensional/heavy haul freight.
• Ability to work out‑and‑home schedule of 3‑4 weeks on the road followed by 1 week home.
• Comfortable operating both automatic and manual transmissions.

Pay

• Hourly rate: $30.84.
• Potential earnings up to $125,000 per year.

Schedule

• Typical rotation: 3‑4 weeks out, 1 week home.
• Home terminal located in Fort Wayne, Indiana; drivers may start from Fort Wayne or New York.
• Routes: New York → California → Texas → New York.
