About the role

Spectrum Healthcare Resources has an opportunity for a civilian General Dentist at Naval Station Great Lakes in Waukegan, Illinois, on the North Shore of Chicago. This contract position offers a Monday‑through‑Friday schedule (7 am‑3:30 pm) with no evening, weekend, or holiday responsibilities. The role is based in a General Dentistry clinic supported by dental hygienists and dental assistants. Responsibilities

• Provide general dental care to patients in a military‑support clinic setting.
• Work alongside dental hygienists and dental assistants to deliver comprehensive services.
• Maintain compliance with state licensing regulations and Spectrum’s standards of care.

Requirements

• Doctorate in dentistry from an accredited dental school approved by the Council on Dental Education of the ADA.
• At least 12 months of experience as a General Dentist within the preceding 36 months (newly graduated dentists will also be considered).
• Completion of at least 12 classroom hours of continuing dental education within the preceding 24 months.
• Current, unrestricted license to practice dentistry in any U.S. state, District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, Guam, or the U.S. Virgin Islands; responsible for complying with applicable state licensing regulations.

Schedule

Monday through Friday, 7:00 am – 3:30 pm; no evening, weekend, or holiday responsibilities.
