Responsibilities
- Lead the digital (r)evolution in the traditional laundry & dry cleaning industry
- Help customers to lower their laundry eco-footprint by 3X
- Support the fashion industry to extend garment lifetime & facilitate recycling
- Explore internationalisation; grow Fornet (1900 shops) into a global brand
- Co-create our (corporate) startup
- Become a leader; grow into management positions as the company grows
Requirements
No experience is needed, we start with a training program by lifelong experts in the field when you begin. Also, you have the opportunity to connect with fashion brands and educate them on sustainable garment care.
In the daily operation you’ll have a standard set of KPI’s to work towards and together we aim to continuously improve the Fornet standards.
Qualifications
- A consistent quality is one of the most important conditions to get happy customers, so you’ll be in charge of maintaining the standardised operating procedures.
- This requires artisan craftsmanship and a nearly obsessive drive to do the right thing.
- You’ll be a role model for others as we strive to create level-5 leadership in our organisation culture.
- Diplomatic though genuine communication with customers and colleagues will determine your success.
Skills
- Manage the daily operation of our flagship store, ensuring happy customers in the laundry service every day.
- Explain customers, employees and other stakeholders (such as fashion brands) what textile care is all about.
- Manage your time well and ensure priorities get done.
- Strive to be a leader and create leaders by empowering your team to do well.
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to travel to the Zuidas shop on a daily basis.
- Must be able to actively participate in the cleaning operation as well as to work behind a desk for management work.
- Must be able to move around and travel for tasks and responsibilities.
- Enjoy being a problem solver and take a hands-on approach.
- Never a dull day at the office.
Technical Requirements
- Confident using digital technology.
- Know how to use programs such as Google suite/MS Office.
- Native level speaker (writing included) in English and preferably Dutch.
- Preferrably some general technical know-how or at least an interest in this domain.
- An interest in textiles and how to care for them.

Pay
EU 15,45 gross wage per hour + vacation allowance (8.33%) & end-year bonus (5.33%) paid monthly + bonus (dependent team KPI scores)
