Then other unrelated job postings (HVACR Mechanic II etc). We need to ignore those. Also maybe "shape and grow an athletic band program within a Division I university while contributing to the musical and educational environment of a nationally recognized residential liberal arts institution." That's more about role. We need to separate responsibilities from about the role. The position summary includes some responsibilities. But we can put the summary in About the role, and responsibilities list separate. We need to ensure we don't duplicate content. We'll extract distinct items. Let's parse: Position Summary paragraph: "Elon College... invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Music and Director of Bands position in the Department of Music, beginning July 2027. This position offers an exciting opportunity to shape and grow an athletic band program within a Division I university while contributing to the musical and educational environment of a nationally recognized residential liberal arts institution. Elon is a dynamic private, co-educational, comprehensive institution that is a national model for actively engaging faculty and students in teaching and learning in a liberal arts based residential campus. To learn more about Elon, please visit the University website at www.elon.edu." We can treat the first two sentences as About the role: opportunity to shape and grow athletic band program etc. Then responsibilities list as separate. But we must not repeat content. We'll try to split. About the role: "This position offers an exciting opportunity to shape and grow an athletic band program within a Division I university while contributing to the musical and educational environment of a nationally recognized residential liberal arts institution." Also maybe mention tenure-track, start date July 2027, Department of Music. We can include: "Tenure-track Assistant Professor of Music and Director of Bands position in the Department of Music, beginning July 2027." Responsibilities: list items: - Leadership and development of Elon’s athletic bands, including the Fire of the Carolinas Marching Band and pep band, in partnership with Department of Athletics. - Hiring and supervising student and instructional staff. - Developing student leadership structures. - Managing inventory and equipment. - Overseeing budgets. - Coordinating rehearsals, performances, travel, and other program activities. - Conducting the Wind Ensemble and/or Concert Band. - Teaching other courses, including in the Core Curriculum, based on department needs and candidate expertise. - Developing a clear vision for advancing the musical, educational, and public profile of Elon’s athletic and concert bands and building an engaging band program that attracts and retains students while strengthening degree programs. - Demonstrating strong conducting and rehearsal skills; effective communication and organizational abilities. - Collaborating with students, faculty, staff, Athletics, Admissions, alumni, donors, and other university partners. - Implementing effective recruitment strategies for the band and Department of Music, including building positive relationships with prospective students, families, and secondary-school music educators. - Contributing to a climate of inclusivity (encouraged to highlight experiences). We can combine some. Requirements: Minimum Required Education And Experience: DMA in Music must be completed prior to the start of employment. Qualifications: Preferred Education And Experience: Experience directing collegiate bands, including marching and pep bands. Skills: Could be derived from responsibilities but we can list: strong conducting and rehearsal skills; effective communication and organizational abilities; collaboration; recruitment; vision building; etc. But we already have skills in responsibilities. However we can still create a Skills section summarizing those abilities. Benefits: Benefits Of Working At Elon: values diversity, equal opportunity, mission, respect human differences, passion for lifelong learning, personal integrity, ethic of service. Additional Information: research support package: pre-tenure sabbatical, course reassignment times, summer research grants, funds for conference travel. We should combine into a Benefits section. We must not include EEO boilerplate? The benefits section includes equal opportunity statement; but that is part of benefits? It's more about EEO. The instruction says remove cookie/navigation/legal/EEO/equal-opportunity/scam-warning boilerplate. So we should remove the equal opportunity employer statement. However the benefits paragraph includes "As an equal opportunity employer, decisions related to hiring, compensating, training, evaluating performance, are made fairly, and we provide equal employment opportunities to all qualified candidates and employees." That's EEO boilerplate; we should remove it. Also "At Elon we strive to follow our mission, where our employees are empowered to respect human differences, have a passion for lifelong learning, an emphasis on personal integrity and an ethic of service." That's not boilerplate; it's mission statement, we can keep. Thus Benefits section: "Elon values and celebrates the diverse backgrounds, cultures, experiences, and perspectives of our community members. At Elon we strive to follow our mission, where our employees are empowered to respect human differences, have a passion for lifelong learning, an emphasis
