Job Cost Accountant (JCA)
Reports to: General Manager
About the role
Manage all phases of job costing within RMS and QuickBooks Accounting Software. Maintain all accounting, computer, and financial records for the franchise in conjunction with a CPA. Be empathetic and show a sense of urgency while communicating through modern technology. When the owner is not available, manage the daily operations of the franchise as needed.

The Job Cost Accountant works with owners and the office staff to ensure that all jobs are costed properly, accurately, and follow the guidelines for job cost accounting. You will practice continuous improvement every day as you establish rapport with insurance carriers, customers, vendors, subcontractors, adjusters, agents, and fellow team members.
Responsibilities
- Work cohesively with another job cost accountant to provide public relations, establishing rapport with insurance carriers, customers, vendors, subcontractors, adjusters, agents, and fellow employees.
- Focus on and dedicate yourself to providing excellent customer service.
- Assist other team members when needed and foster positive working relationships with other departments.
- Be a great representative of the Paul Davis brand.
- Collect information by possessing strong listening and communication skills, asking questions, and monitoring various aspects of the business to detect problems.
- Manage all phases of job costing within RMS and QuickBooks.
- Manage the daily operations of the franchise as needed when the owner is not available.
- Maintain all accounting, computer, and financial records.
- Request and maintain updated Workplace Safety certificates and insurance coverage for subcontractors.
- Enter timesheets and process payroll.

Pay
$52,000.00 per year (negotiable depending on experience).
