Job Coach (Part-Time)

Work Ready is seeking a part-time Job Coach to support high school students with mild to moderate disabilities in community-based Work Experience placements.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site support to students during their work shifts.
• Teach and reinforce job skills needed for workplace success.
• Model appropriate professional behavior and communication.
• Support students in problem-solving and understanding workplace expectations.
• Communicate observations, progress, and concerns to Work Ready staff as needed.
• Aid in developing strategies, accommodations, or prompts to increase independence.
• Represent Work Ready professionally at employer partner locations.

Qualifications

• Ability to pass a criminal background check.
• Completion of UNT WISE Job Skills Training (online certification).
