Job Coach
About the role
This role primarily serves Clackamas County, with occasional assignments in Multnomah and Washington counties based on program needs. While this position begins as part-time, additional hours are expected as services continue to expand, creating the opportunity for a future full-time schedule.
Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one coaching and workplace support
- Encourage independence, self-confidence, and professional workplace habits
- Support positive communication with supervisors and coworkers
- Help individuals strengthen skills such as organization, time management, and problem-solving
- Complete required documentation and progress notes
- Promote safe, inclusive, and respectful work environments
- Collaborate with employers, support teams, and coworkers to help individuals achieve long-term employment success
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver's license with the ability to become an approved company driver
- Ability to pass a national background check
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds when needed
- Willingness to travel throughout Clackamas, Multnomah, and Washington counties
Qualifications
No previous Job Coach experience is required. If you're dependable, enjoy working with people, and want a career with purpose, we'll provide the training you need to succeed.
Skills
- Experience in caregiving, education, coaching, human services, or direct support is helpful but not required
