About the role
We are seeking a motivated, compassionate Job Coach with a passion for helping children. The ideal candidate will demonstrate initiative, creativity, and a commitment to positively impacting students' lives.
Responsibilities
- Provide on-site support and supervision to students at job training, internship, or community-based vocational sites.
- Teach and model appropriate workplace behaviors, communication skills, and job-specific tasks.
- Assist students in developing independence, self-advocacy, and problem-solving skills in the workplace.
- Collaborate with employers, site supervisors, and school staff to align job placements with student goals and abilities.
- Monitor student performance, collect data, and document progress toward Individualized Education Program (IEP) and transition goals.
- Adapt tasks or environments to accommodate student strengths and needs.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Psychology, Social Work, Rehabilitation, or a related field (required).
- Prior experience working with individuals with disabilities, preferably in vocational, educational, or therapeutic settings (preferred).
- Experience supporting job training, community-based instruction, or employment services (preferred).
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
