Job Coach

About the role

Mandy’s Farm provides services in the Albuquerque area for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, supporting them to live the life of their choosing. The job coach supports individuals with wide-ranging disabilities in achieving their career, educational, and financial goals. Support may include physical assistance (assisting with mobility), verbal prompts, creation of tools, transportation, or any other assistance the client needs to be successful. Training is paid and provided.

Responsibilities

• Transport clients to and from their work sites (mileage reimbursed)
• Teach and model job duties
• Provide direction and instruction to complete work thoroughly
• Assist with personal care if needed
• Attend client team meetings
• Complete shift logs and other required paperwork

Requirements

• Aged 21 or older
• High school diploma or GED
• Valid New Mexico driver’s license
• Vehicle insurance and reliable transportation
• Flexibility to travel between work sites during shifts
• Fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or approved for a religious/medical exemption (per state mandate)
