About the Role

Coordinate and provide necessary services to clients to facilitate social and vocational integration. This includes evaluating client needs, developing treatment plans, arranging or delivering services, and assisting clients in accessing resources to achieve their vocational goals.

Responsibilities

• Review, determine, and coordinate services for clients to support social and vocational integration.
• Interview and evaluate clients to assess service needs based on their profiles.
• Formulate and implement treatment plans and goals tailored to individual clients.
• Develop client-specific jobs by matching skills, knowledge, and abilities to suitable career paths.
• Research and engage employers with relevant job opportunities to hire clients.
• Assist employers with training to ensure clients receive appropriate job knowledge and skills.
• Determine, suggest, or arrange adaptive devices, mentoring, or other supports to complement job training or career development.
• Develop and utilize natural supports, both on and off the job, to secure vocational success.
• Source, implement, or facilitate transportation systems, human support networks, or other resources to nurture client socialization.
• Complete all documentation required for billing services, including job success plans, situational assessments, benefits analysis, and disciplinary analysis.
• Interpret and implement existing DRS and HOH contracts and performance requirements.
• Stay current with regulatory developments and trends.
• Assist clients in achieving maximum potential and self-determination.

Requirements

• Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalency.
• 6 months of experience in a service-oriented environment, ideally in a job development capacity.
• Above-average interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Basic math proficiency and ability to use office equipment (copier, fax, calculator, telephone system).
• Ability to organize tasks, maintain accurate records, and exercise sound judgment.
• Periodic travel to various intrastate sites, which may require overnight stays.
• Valid driver’s license, current automotive insurance, and dependable transportation.
• Availability to operate a vehicle during day and night hours.
• First Aid/CPR Training, including completion of compressions on the floor or ground.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and be subject to random, post-accident, and reasonable cause drug screens.
• Willingness to work schedules based on individual client needs and overtime as required.
• Ability to learn and follow the Individual Plan (IP) of clients.
• Criminal background free of encumbrances identified by the State of Oklahoma Health Department.
