About the role
The Healthcare team at Lionakis works on a variety of projects, including medical and health facilities, specialty clinics, and more. As a Job Captain, you will lead production and coordination of construction documents, collaborate with project architects, and coordinate with clients, consultants, and contractors.
Responsibilities
- Lead production and coordination of construction documents, ensuring alignment with healthcare codes, standards, and consultant work.
- Collaborate with project architects to resolve design, program, and regulatory requirements (OSHPD/HCAI, agency approvals).
- Coverage with clients, consultants, and contractors across all project phases to maintain project continuity.
- Support development of bid and construction packages and assist with construction administration activities.
- Track and communicate impacts to scope, budget, schedule, and risk, including client or consultant-driven changes.
- Contribute to project planning, enforce QA/QC standards, and ensure compliance with firm and healthcare design protocols.
- Delegate tasks, mentor junior staff, and support team deliverables, presentations, and multi-project workflows.
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or equivalent with a minimum of 6 years architectural project experience.
- Proficiency with BIM/Revit software programs, MS Office Suite, and Bluebeam.
- Prior experience with Healthcare projects (OSHPD/HCAI experience a huge plus).
Qualifications
- LEED accreditation preferred.
- Familiarity with alarm system design and coordination and its integration into healthcare facility design.
Skills

- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.

Pay
$90,100 - $119,200 annually. Compensation and level DOE.
