Healthcare Coordinator

About the role

The Healthcare Coordinator (HC) at Eastvale Smiles Dentistry Dental Group plays a crucial role in partnering with supported Dentists to secure financial commitments from patients, ensuring they receive the best dental care promptly.

Responsibilities

• Understand and utilize financial options to support case acceptance
• Educate patients on treatment choices
• Overcome common patient objections
• Proactively keep Dentist's schedules productive
• Support each patient in a consultative and educational manner
• Create a Perfect Patient Experience (PPE) and build Patients for Life (PFL)
• Model company culture, values, standards, and best operational practices
• Achieve proficiency in PDS system and tools
• Execute the HC Handoff in partnership with each clinician
• Be a Subject Matter Expert on all available financial options
• Oversee necessary insurance pre-authorizations for patients
• Maintain the Comprehensive Care Model within the office and referrals
• Participate in daily morning huddles, monthly team meetings, and other required meetings
• Stay informed about business imperatives and their impact on metrics and results
• Become knowledgeable on the Mouth Body Connection and support clinical excellence
• Maintain an appropriate professional appearance and demeanor
• Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory bodies
• Handle and maintain extreme confidentiality of patient records
• Multi-task effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Communicate effectively orally and in writing
• Work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Prior course work or on-the-job training in dentistry, insurance, or business preferred
• Knowledge of office practices, technology applications, and patient insurances
• Results-oriented, patient advocate, process-focused operator, financial acumen, and influencer
• Self-motivated, reliable, and capable of working independently and as part of a team
• Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
• Organized and detail-oriented

Compensation Information

$18.00-$25.50 / Hourly
