About the role
The JKL Program Manager is responsible for delivering the JKL program with fidelity and maintaining a safe, positive environment for all youth.
Responsibilities
- Deliver the JKL program with fidelity.
- Recruit youth to participate in the JKL program.
- Register JKL participants as BGCAA Club Members.
- Share program attendance information with BGCAA as requested.
- Complete mandatory BGCAA Safety training.
- Assist with ensuring that BGCAA rules and policies are implemented.
- Maintain a professional and role-model persona.
- Spend budget within program limits.
- Make and record purchases in accordance with BGCAA standards.
- Clean and maintain the program area.
- Be offered shuttle training to drive BGCAA shuttles.
Schedule
Part-time hours (up to 29 hours a week) during the school year.
Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED
- Must pass background check, reference check, and drug test
- Must be able to work and interact professionally
- Proficient with computer equipment
- Must be dependable
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate degree in education or related field preferred
Physical Requirements / Work Environment
- Available to work onsite
- Preferred ability to stand for long periods of time
- Preferred ability to work in various weather conditions—hot, cold, rainy, etc.
- Preferred ability to move supplies up to 25 pounds
