Role Summary
This position is responsible for managing and maintaining the Atlassian ecosystem, including Jira, Jira Service Management, and Confluence. The role requires a seasoned Atlassian Administrator who will oversee platform configurations, drive process enhancements, and support enterprise-wide adoption.
Responsibilities
- Administer, configure, and optimize Jira, Jira Service Management, and Confluence platforms.
- Design, develop, and maintain workflows, projects, queues, forms, permissions, automations, dashboards, and reports.
- Support service management processes, project tracking, change management, and knowledge management initiatives.
- Collaborate with business and technical teams to gather requirements and implement scalable platform solutions.
- Create and maintain integrations through APIs, webhooks, and third-party tools.
- Develop governance standards, best practices, and strategies to promote platform adoption and consistency.
- Create comprehensive documentation and provide end-user support and training.
- Drive process improvements to enhance platform efficiency and user experience.
- Maintain platform performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure continuous operation.
- Stay current with Atlassian product updates and industry best practices to recommend enhancements.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of direct experience in Jira, Jira Service Management, and Confluence administration.
- Deep technical knowledge of Atlassian tools and configuration options.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently.
- Proven experience configuring workflows, automation rules, permission schemes, and service management processes.
- Ability to translate complex business requirements into effective platform solutions.
- Experience with Atlassian integrations, APIs, webhooks, and cross-platform connectivity.
- Background in engineering, systems administration, or other highly technical disciplines preferred.
- Experience supporting enterprise-wide platform adoption and governance initiatives.
