Jeweler Apprentice

About the role

The Jeweler Apprentice will service and repair clients' jewelry while providing excellent quality and turnaround time, following all posted processes to restore damaged jewelry to required standards.

Responsibilities

• Safely account for gemstones, diamonds, metals, and customers' jewelry used in repairs.
• Perform 50 repairs per day to meet goals and objectives.

Requirements

• Minimum of one year’s experience in jewelry repairs.
• Ability to work independently and meet hourly goals.
• Proficiency with small tools and intricate materials.
• Demonstrated skill in chain repair, bracelet repair, earring repair, prong and stone setting repairs, stone tightening, and polishing.
• Experience using a microscope.
• Ability to read and follow written repair instructions and processes.
• Willingness to train in new techniques.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to communicate effectively.
• Must pass a bench test.
• High School diploma or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of hollow chain repairs.
• Laser welding experience.
• Production experience.
