Apprentice Jeweler

The Atelier de New York is seeking a dedicated Apprentice Jeweler for its 12-month apprenticeship program. Ideal candidates should have completed a formal jewelry education program from a recognized institution and possess relevant beginner skills.

• Learning and developing practical skills
• Participating in VCA workshop assignments
• Observing and adhering to health and safety requirements
• Completing required exercises and assignments under supervision
• Positively receiving feedback and building professional relationships

Responsibilities

During the apprenticeship, the Apprentice Jeweler will:

• Learn with the company’s assigned experienced staff
• Participate in daily classes and workshops
• Gain knowledge, skills, and experience throughout the apprenticeship
• Understand the industry as a whole and specific best practices in the jewelry industry
• Observe and follow health and safety procedures
• Complete all tests, assignments, and evaluations
• Build professional relationships with colleagues and administrative teams

Qualifications

• Completed a formal jewelry education program from a recognized institution
• Relevant jewelry-specific beginner skills
• A willingness to learn
• Excellent communication skills
• A determination to grow as a professional
