Job Summary

About the role

The Mixer is responsible for continuously monitoring and adjusting the product to ensure it meets Newly Weds Foods, Inc. standards.

Responsibilities

• Ability to perform all phases of the mixing operation including, but not limited to, knowledge of location and types of ingredients, measuring and weighing processes, reading and understanding batch tickers.
• Knowledge and ability to make appropriate adjustments of water and yeast relative to temperature and humidity, without direct assistance and with minimal supervision.
• Must be able to monitor the dough quality and identify problems and make necessary adjustments.
• Absorb and assist in training new mixer operators and stay up to date on new work methods and job procedures.
• Absorb and assist in other work areas as directed by supervisor.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Basic HACCP and GMP knowledge required.

Skills

• Knowledge of ingredients and mixing processes.
• Ability to adjust water and yeast based on temperature and humidity.
