Java Technical Lead (Java + React)

About The Role

As a Senior Java Full Stack Engineer, you will make an impact by designing and delivering scalable, enterprise-grade digital solutions across backend and frontend platforms. You will be a valued member of the engineering team and work collaboratively with architects, platform engineers, and cross-functional stakeholders to enable modern application development and platform innovation.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on technical leadership across Java (backend) and React (frontend) development
• Design and deliver scalable microservices, APIs, and micro-frontend architectures
• Drive platform engineering initiatives, including internal developer platforms (IDP) to enable reusable services and developer self-service
• Implement enterprise integrations using API-led and event-driven architecture patterns
• Develop resilient distributed systems aligned with enterprise standards, security, and governance requirements
• Integrate GenAI capabilities, including AI-assisted development tools and agent-based frameworks, ensuring proper governance and guardrails

Requirements

• 10+ years of hands-on experience in software engineering with a strong full stack background
• Strong proficiency in Java 17 and Spring Boot-based microservices development
• Proven experience building distributed systems, APIs, and microservices architectures
• Hands-on experience with React and modern frontend development practices
• Experience with enterprise integrations using API and event-driven patterns
• Exposure to or hands-on experience with GenAI technologies, including MCP or similar frameworks
• Strong understanding of SDLC governance, security standards, and regulatory compliance requirements

Qualifications

• Experience building and scaling internal developer platforms (IDP) or platform engineering initiatives
• Familiarity with micro-frontend architecture patterns
• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools and automation frameworks
• Strong collaboration skills working across architecture, DevOps, and platform teams
• Ability to influence technical direction and drive engineering best practices
