Java / Spring Boot Software Developer - REMOTE

About the role

As a Full Stack Java Developer, you'll perform software requirements analysis, system integration activities, research, design, develop, and test software and tools. From inventing new products or enhancing existing applications, your talent will be front and center. You will serve as a company technical spokesperson with subject matter expertise.

Responsibilities

• Develop object-oriented software applications in Java
• Build backend services and REST APIs using Java and the Spring Boot framework
• Create modern, component-based front-end applications with ReactJS
• Apply Test-Driven Development (TDD), writing unit and integration tests before or alongside implementation
• Work with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Harness, Jenkins, GitHub Actions) for automated build, test, and deployment workflows
• Design and integrate APIs, including RESTful endpoint design, versioning, and documentation (e.g., OpenAPI/Swagger)
• Utilize data streaming platforms, particularly Kafka, including producers/consumers, topics, and partitions
• Apply software engineering concepts, principles, and theories to resolve issues creatively and meet business objectives

Requirements

• 2+ years of related experience
• Strong hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot
• Proficiency in ReactJS
• Solid understanding of TDD and CI/CD pipelines
• Understanding of API design and integration
• Exposure to Kafka or similar data streaming platforms
• Ability to obtain a public trust clearance

Pay

The likely salary range for this position is $86,250 - $97,968, depending on experience, geographic location, and contractual requirements.
