About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Java Spring Boot Developer with expertise in developing Chatbot and AI-powered applications and hands-on experience using GitHub Copilot for AI-assisted software development. The ideal candidate should possess strong backend development skills, experience building scalable microservices, and exposure to modern AI and conversational platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade applications using Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices.
  • Develop and integrate chatbot/conversational AI solutions with enterprise applications.
  • Build scalable APIs and backend services supporting chatbot and AI workflows.
  • Leverage GitHub Copilot to improve development productivity, code quality, and delivery speed.
  • Collaborate with architects, product owners, and frontend teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
  • Integrate applications with cloud services, databases, and third-party systems.
  • Participate in code reviews, performance optimization, and system design discussions.
  • Follow Agile development methodologies and DevOps practices.

Requirements

  • 5-10 years of software development experience.
  • Strong expertise in:
    • Java 8/11/17
    • Spring Boot
    • Spring MVC
    • Spring Data JPA
    • RESTful APIs
    • Microservices Architecture
  • Experience developing or integrating Chatbots / Conversational AI solutions.
  • Hands-on experience with GitHub Copilot and AI-assisted development tools.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
  • Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile practices.
  • Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with:
    • Azure OpenAI, OpenAI APIs, Claude, Gemini, or similar AI platforms
    • Python for AI/Automation integrations
    • Kubernetes and Docker
    • Azure or AWS Cloud
  • Knowledge of:
    • Prompt Engineering
    • Agentic AI concepts
    • LangChain or AI orchestration frameworks
  • Experience in Banking or Financial Services domains.
  • GitHub Copilot Certification.
  • Experience building AI Assistants, Virtual Agents, or Customer Support Bots.
  • Exposure to React or Angular front-end technologies.
  • Familiarity with Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures.
