Java Microservices Developer

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement scalable software applications using PySpark and Java Microservices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Utilize GitHub Copilot to enhance coding efficiency and maintain high standards of code quality.
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members to ensure best practices are followed.
• Optimize existing applications for performance and scalability.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for software applications and processes.
• Participate in troubleshooting and debugging efforts to resolve software issues in a timely manner.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve development practices.

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in PySpark for big data processing and analytics.
• Experience in developing Java Microservices with a focus on RESTful APIs.
• Solid understanding of database fundamentals, including SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with GitHub Copilot and its application in code generation.
• Proficient in version control systems, particularly Git.

Qualifications

• Mandatory Skills:
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
• Understanding of software testing frameworks and practices.
• Experience with front-end technologies such as React or Angular is a plus.
