Java/J2EE Software Engineer

About the role

Open Systems Technologies Corporation is seeking a Back-End Software Engineer to support a large government-end client.

Responsibilities

• Develop RESTful services using Java, Spring Boot, Mockito, Lombok, OpenAPI (Swagger), and related libraries.
• Manage applications through Git and build using Gradle.
• Utilize third-party applications like Kafka, MongoDB, ActiveMQ, and NiFi.
• Containerize applications and deploy to a Kubernetes cluster using Helm Charts.
• Work with Amazon Web Services (AWS).

Requirements

• CLEARANCE: Active TS/SCI with CI PolyA
• Experience in Java development, Spring Boot, and Spring Framework
• Experience with microservices and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Experience with integration and development tools (AWS, Docker, Jenkins)
• Experience with systems engineering efforts in system design, solution engineering, and software development
• Experience with Linux OS and command line interface
