About the Role

UST is searching for a strong Java Full Stack Developer to work on a multi-vendor, multi-geo team helping to build a NextGen High Scale Enterprise Platform.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable web applications using Spring Boot, Node.js, and React.js.
  • Develop and consume RESTful APIs to enable seamless integration between front-end and back-end systems.
  • Build and maintain microservices-based applications using Spring Boot and Java best practices.
  • Develop server-side applications using Node.js, ensuring efficient asynchronous processing and high performance.
  • Design and implement responsive, user-friendly interfaces using React.js, including component development, state management, and routing.
  • Utilize Microsoft Azure services such as Azure App Service, Azure Functions, and Azure SQL Database for cloud-native application development and deployment.
  • Implement Object-Relational Mapping (ORM) frameworks and manage database interactions effectively.
  • Hands-on experience in developing Spring Boot applications, including dependency injection, ORM (Object-Relational Mapping), and REST API development.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Azure cloud platform, including Azure App Service, Azure Functions, and Azure SQL.
  • Proficiency in building server-side applications using NodeJS, including creating RESTful APIs and handling asynchronous programming.
  • In-depth understanding of JavaScript fundamentals, including ES6+ features, data types, operators, and functional programming concepts.
  • Familiarity with Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Deployment (CD) practices, including automated testing, build pipelines, and deployment strategies.
  • Proficiency in writing SQL queries as per industrial standards, fine-tuned for optimization.
  • Strong knowledge and experience in developing front-end applications using ReactJS, including components, state management, and routing.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities, good communication (written & verbal) skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in software development.
  • 5 years of hands-on experience in Java development at enterprise scale (recent).
  • 3 years of recent React experience.
  • Strong programming skills in Java, React, and Node, including object-oriented programming principles, design patterns, and familiarity with Java frameworks.
  • Understanding of microservices architecture and experience in building and deploying microservices-based applications.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field is required due to the complexity of the program.
  • This is an independent contributor role from day one and should be able to perform with minimal to no supervision.
  • This is strictly an in-person program; candidates must be available in the office 8-5, 5 days a week.

Pay

Role Location: Bentonville, Arkansas

Compensation Range: $82,000-$123,000

Benefits

  • Full-time, regular employees accrue a minimum of 10 days of paid vacation per year, receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires), 10 paid holidays, and are eligible for paid bereavement leave and jury duty.

  • Full-time temporary employees receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires) and are eligible to participate in the Company’s 401(k) program with employer matching, as well as medical, dental, and vision insurance for themselves and their dependents residing in the US.
  • Part-time temporary employees receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires).
  • All US employees who work in a state or locality with more generous paid sick leave benefits than specified here will receive the benefit of those sick leave laws.
