Java Full stack developer (Specialist - Software Engineering)

About the role

Location: Irving, Tx (Hybrid). This role requires a senior software engineer with minimum 8 years of specialization in Java and JavaScript development to design, build, and secure enterprise-level applications and platforms. The consultant will be a key figure in enhancing software supply chain security and driving the adoption of secure development practices across the software development lifecycle (SDLC).

Responsibilities

• Software Engineering: Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade software solutions using Java and JavaScript
• Build scalable and secure applications based on cloud-native architectures
• Lead code reviews and contribute to system design and technical strategy
• Evaluate and integrate open-source technologies
• DevSecOps & CI/CD: Design and optimize CI/CD pipelines, integrating automated security testing (e.g., code scanning, dependency analysis)
• Develop automation to support continuous integration, testing, and secure deployments
• Promote Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) best practices
• Secure Development Lifecycle (SDL): Champion and embed SDL practices throughout the organization
• Conduct threat modeling, security design reviews, and support the remediation of security findings
