Java FSD

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and triage for large, complex systems with strong Java and object-oriented design skills.
• Lead microservices development projects with 5+ years of experience.
• Develop APIs using Spring Boot, REST, and JSON.
• Build microservices-based applications with hands-on experience.
• Work with DevOps tools including containers, cloud, automation, security, configuration management, and CI/CD.
• Experience with streaming technologies like Apache Kafka.
• Exposure to emerging technologies such as AI Copilot and AI Agents.

Requirements

• Strong secure coding practices with knowledge of OWASP Top 10 and remediation of common CWE patterns.
• Hands-on experience with application security tools like Fortify, Black Duck/FOSSA, and SonarQube.
• Experience with vulnerability management processes including triage, prioritization, remediation, and risk handling workflows.
• Proven experience integrating security into CI/CD pipelines (DevSecOps).
• Familiarity with open-source and supply chain security practices, including SBOMs and third-party risk management.
• Experience collaborating with InfoSec, platform, and DevOps teams to remediate vulnerabilities across applications and dependencies.
• Experience with AI-assisted code analysis and remediation tools.
• Experience with PractiTest, Playwright, AI-assisted development, and Spec-Driven Development (SDD).

Qualifications

Must have 5+ years of experience in design, development, and triaging for large, complex systems, with strong Java and object-oriented design skills.

Must have 5+ years of microservices development experience.

Must have 3+ years of experience working with Spring Boot.

Must have 3+ years of DevOps experience, including containers, cloud, automation, security, configuration management, and CI/CD.

Must have experience with streaming technologies like Apache Kafka.

Must have exposure to emerging technologies such as AI Copilot and AI Agents.

Benefits

Salary Range: $100,000 - $110,000 per year
