Java Developer / Production support L3

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain applications using Java, J2EE technologies.
• Work with multi-server environments using Tomcat, JBoss, WebSphere, and WebLogic servers.
• Perform advanced database operations with DB2, Oracle, and Sybase.
• Have extensive experience with Unix and scripting, including shell/perl.
• Manage and monitor production systems using tools such as Autosys, ProcMon, and crontab.
• Use advanced IDEs like Eclipse and NetBeans.
• Experience with version control systems (Git, Jenkins).
• Support L2+/L3 level issues, including familiarity with Jira, ServiceNow, and incident/problem management.
• Execute code changes in production environments following software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in Java, Unix, and SQL development.
• Strong hands-on experience with REST APIs, Servlets, JavaScript, HTML, JDBC, Struts, Hibernate, and Spring.
• Advanced Unix scripting skills.
• Mid to advanced experience with job scheduling and monitoring tools.
• Mid to advanced experience in support models (L2+/L3).
• Good experience with production tooling and processes.
