Java Developer

Responsibilities

• Work on stories that cover both functional and payment system aspects, including risk-related tasks.
• Contribute to enhancing and securing the development environment.
• Develop applications using Java and Angular, with a focus on version 8 and above.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, specifically 3-week sprints.
• Collaborate with the tech lead and other members of the small product team.
• Assist with design and architecture, especially those with a senior level of expertise.
• Engage actively in product ceremonies and stay updated with the latest AI technologies like GitHub or Copilot/Claud.
• Utilize test automation tools such as Selenium and Cucumber.
• Work with IBM MQ products, including IBM MDQ and Connect Direct, which uses a file-based protocol.

Requirements

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to contribute effectively to the team.
• Experience with full-stack development, including Java and Angular.
• Knowledge of version 8 and above for Java development.
• Proficiency in Agile methodologies and practices.
• Background in design and architecture, with a senior level of expertise.
• Experience with test automation tools such as Selenium and Cucumber.
• Understanding of IBM MQ products, particularly IBM MDQ and Connect Direct.
