Responsibilities
- Owns the project planning and development process.
- Assists or leads in preparing programming specifications and developing coding logic.
- Develops, implements, and maintains robust software solutions tailored to meet customer needs.
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams to understand customer requirements and integrate cutting-edge technologies, ensuring a seamless user experience.
- Contributes to enhancing the customer's operational capabilities, driving efficiency, and facilitating their overall success.
- Shapes and sustains solutions that have a meaningful and lasting impact on the customer’s goals.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5-7 years of Information Technology experience.
- Strong proficiency in Java with hands-on experience developing, testing, and deploying enterprise applications.
- Solid understanding of object-oriented programming, design principles, and software engineering best practices.
- Experience building and maintaining RESTful APIs and integrating with external services.
- Proficiency with Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data, and/or Spring Security).
- Working knowledge of SQL and relational databases such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, or MySQL; familiarity with ORM tools (e.g., Hibernate/JPA).
- Experience with version control systems such as Git, including branching and pull-request workflows.
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and build tools such as Maven or Gradle.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) is preferred.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and deliver high-quality, maintainable code in a collaborative environment.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies, testing, and debugging.
- Experience with developing APIs per OpenAPI Specification.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field from an accredited College/University is preferred. Alternative Path: Four years of relevant work experience if no relevant four-year degree is held.
- Required Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in Java, solid understanding of object-oriented programming, design principles, and software engineering best practices, experience building and maintaining RESTful APIs, proficiency with Spring Framework, working knowledge of SQL and relational databases, experience with version control systems, understanding of CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and build tools, familiarity with cloud platforms and containerization technologies.
- Preferred Skills: Familiarity with cloud platforms, exposure to front-end technologies, understanding of DevOps practices, experience with performance tuning, profiling, and optimizing applications, experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Pay
The likely salary range for this position is $68,000 - $92,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
