Java Developer

Job Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, test, support, maintain, and debug software applications that support business units or functions.
• Work closely with other engineers and teams to ensure stable, quality deliveries.
• Create prototypes to prove design concepts and prepare UML diagrams to describe application states.
• Participate in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including analysis, technical design, development, testing, and deployment.
• Identify and mitigate risks associated with software development and testing.
• Recommend technological innovations that enhance the organization's competitive advantage.
• Estimate effort for software applications and coordinate with external programming teams to deliver software on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5-6 years of hands-on experience in Java/J2EE development.
• Proficiency in developing RESTful services using Spring Framework and Spring Boot.
• Experience with Apache Kafka for online data publishing and consuming.

Pay

Rate Range: $55/hour to $60/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
