The Investment Banking and Global Capital Markets Technology group is a highly innovative team of full-time employees and consultants based in New York, Montreal, London, and Mumbai. The team supports time-critical and revenue-generating applications for the investment banking business, which is rapidly renovated and expanded while remaining nimble and agile to cater to various business needs.
The ideal candidate will work closely with Product Owners, Development, and QA engineers to deliver timely and high-quality solutions. The candidate should be adaptive to a continuously changing and fast-paced environment, successfully multi-task, and thrive in a dynamic, fully engaged developer role.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Development, and QA engineers to deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Work in a fast-paced, agile environment using Scrum methodologies.
- Develop and maintain applications using Core Java and integration technologies (MQ, XML, SOAP, JSON).
- Design, query, and manage databases (SQL Server, Mongo).
- Implement unit testing, integration testing, and CI/CD pipelines (Gradle/Maven, Jenkins, GIT).
- Apply Enterprise Architecture Patterns, Object-Oriented Analysis, Design, and Programming.
- Work effectively within a global delivery team and manage stakeholder communications.
Requirements
- More than one year of relevant work experience.
- Solid understanding of programming concepts, software design, and software development principles.
- Hands-on development experience with Core Java and strong database skills.
- Proficiency in Database Management Systems (SQL Server, Mongo) and designing/querying databases.
- Experience with integration technologies (MQ, XML, SOAP, JSON).
- Experience with unit testing, integration testing, and CI/CD tools (Gradle/Maven, Jenkins, GIT).
- Sound understanding of Enterprise Architecture Patterns, Object-Oriented Analysis, Design, and Programming.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work cooperatively with others to achieve team goals and adapt to a dynamic environment.
(Optional) Prior experience in investment banking.

Pay
The base compensation range for this role in New York is $86,129 to $127,189. Capgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws. The actual compensation offered may vary based on factors such as geographic location, education, certifications, relevant experience, skills, seniority, performance, market considerations, and internal pay equity.
In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for variable incentives, bonuses, or commissions, depending on the position and applicable laws.
