Java Developer
About the role
We are building a team of Mid-Level Java Developers to design and develop custom integrations for ServiceNow and SailPoint IdentityIQ. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in Java, J2EE, and Tomcat to deliver scalable, high-quality enterprise solutions. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to support the full software development lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product managers, architects, and cross-functional teams to analyze requirements and design Java-based solutions.
- Develop, enhance, and maintain scalable, high-performance web applications using J2EE technologies.
- Design and implement server-side components and integrations that interface with front-end technologies.
- Build and support custom integrations for ServiceNow and SailPoint IdentityIQ.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application issues related to functionality, performance, and scalability.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure coding standards, best practices, and high code quality.
- Contribute to Agile development processes and team deliverables.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Java Developer with strong knowledge of Java and J2EE.
- Proficiency in Spring, Hibernate, and related Java frameworks.
- Working knowledge of front-end technologies including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Experience with relational databases and SQL.
- Familiarity with version control systems (Git/GitHub) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with microservices architecture.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Knowledge of containerization technologies (e.g., Docker).
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
