Java Cloud Application Developer

About the role

We are seeking a highly experienced Java Cloud Application Developer to help modernize and migrate enterprise applications from on-premises environments to AWS. This is a hands-on engineering role requiring advanced Java or Scala development experience, strong AWS cloud-native expertise and a solid background building distributed applications using microservices, Spring Boot and modern CI/CD practices. The ideal candidate can quickly understand existing applications, develop a cloud migration roadmap and deliver secure, scalable solutions.

The ideal candidate is a senior-level, hands-on cloud engineer who combines strong Java or Scala development skills with practical AWS, Spark and Databricks expertise. This person should be comfortable evaluating legacy applications, making architectural recommendations and personally developing the cloud-native solution.

Responsibilities

• Re-platform and migrate enterprise applications from on-premises environments to AWS.
• Analyze existing applications, architecture and dependencies to develop effective cloud migration strategies.
• Design, develop, test and implement secure, scalable cloud-native applications.
• Build distributed systems using Java or Scala, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud and microservices architecture.
• Develop and enhance AWS infrastructure and application components.
