Mid-Level Cloud Java Developer

About the role

We are seeking an upbeat and dedicated engineer to join our development team, working alongside passionate technologists to build and optimize mission-critical cloud analytics platforms.

Responsibilities

• Leverage modern big data and cloud infrastructures to tackle complex data challenges.
• Write efficient, scalable code.
• Implement advanced distributed processing frameworks.
• Ensure applications deliver reliable intelligence at scale.

Requirements

• Java Core Development: Strong, hands-on programming experience building scalable, high-performing applications using modern Java frameworks.
• Big Data Processing: Deep technical understanding and direct development experience working with MapReduce frameworks.
• Cloud Architecture: Solid background developing software within complex, secure Cloud environments.
• Mission Platform Experience: Demonstrated familiarity and hands-on experience utilizing specialized processing tools, specifically the QTA platform.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline (Computer Science, System Engineering, or related field) preferred, or equivalent professional experience with 7 years of experience, or 11 years of relevant experience.

Skills

• Experience with additional distributed processing tools and cloud-native databases.
• Strong communication skills with a team-first mindset, always focused on delivering clear, actionable technical solutions.
• A proactive approach to identifying system bottlenecks and contributing to architectural improvements.

Benefits

The annual base salary range for this role is $146,000-$173,000 (USD), which does not include discretionary bonus compensation or our comprehensive benefits package. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things.

Schedule
