Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Join a large-scale national security program focused on risk assessments of individuals accessing US transportation infrastructure.
• Work on a demanding response time, availability, and transaction requirement for the program.
• Participate in an agile team environment.
• Develop and maintain Java automation systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Ensure adherence to agile development methodologies and best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of Java development experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with Java/JEE.
• Experience with Agile Development.
• Ability to independently manage tasks and deadlines.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with JMS, XML, Angular, SQL (preferred).
• Experience in a large-scale Federal IT Program with high availability requirements (preferred).
