Japanese Language Specialist - Freelance AI Trainer Project

Responsibilities

• Challenge advanced language models on topics like verb conjugation, sentence structure, honorifics, formal and informal speech, regional dialects, kanji readings, and the nuances of Japanese writing systems.
• Document every failure mode encountered during interactions with the model.
• Verify the factual accuracy and logical soundness of the model's responses.
• Capture reproducible error traces and provide detailed feedback.
• Suggest improvements to prompt engineering and evaluation metrics.

Requirements

• Expertise in Japanese grammar, syntax, morphology, kanji, hiragana, katakana, phonology, and pragmatics.
• Experience with peer-reviewed publications, teaching experience, or hands-on linguistic analysis projects.
• Clear, metacognitive communication skills.

Qualifications

A degree is not required for this role; real-world experience speaks louder.

Pay
