Responsibilities
- Create industrial control systems for custom automation equipment
- Develop and troubleshoot PLC programs from scratch
- Design HMI applications and operator interfaces
- Perform system integration, testing, and optimization
- Support machine startup, debugging, FAT, and SAT activities
- Collaborate with customers on technical requirements and provide solutions
- Maintain technical documentation including drawings, code, and manuals
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical and control-related issues
Qualifications
- Japanese (native or business-level proficiency, required)
- English (working proficiency)
- Minimum 3 years of controls engineering experience
- Experience developing PLC systems from scratch
- Strong troubleshooting skills
- The candidate needs to report to the office every day
Preferred Requirements
- Experience with automotive or welding automation systems
- Experience with servo/motion control or machine vision
- Familiarity with AutoCAD Electrical
