About the role

As a member of the Large Engine Controls team, you will contribute across the full lifecycle of engine control systems—from researching new algorithms to supporting long-standing products already in the field. You will apply feedback controls knowledge for dynamic systems to design, calibrate, and validate advanced controllers that push engine performance limits. Located in the engine labs, you will have hands-on access to real engine hardware. You will collaborate with a large, global, people-focused team of engine controls experts, creating strong opportunities to learn, contribute, and grow your career.

Typical tasks include control systems calibration in simulation and on engine, and analyzing and presenting engine data.

Responsibilities

  • Design, calibrate, and validate advanced feedback controllers for dynamic engine systems.
  • Perform control systems calibration in both simulation and on-engine environments.
  • Analyze engine data and present findings to cross-functional teams.

Requirements

  • 2 years of relevant experience (graduate degree in a relevant field counts toward experience).
  • BS in Mechanical, Electrical, or Aerospace Engineering.

Skills

  • Feedback control of dynamic systems.
  • Control systems design and analysis using MATLAB/Simulink.
  • Problem solving through root cause analysis.
  • Strong verbal and written communication.

Pay

$47.00 – $48.00/hour. Final offer within this range is based on relevant skills, education, and experience.
