Janitorial Technician Part Time 2nd Shift

About the Role

This position is responsible for creating cleaner and healthier environments for our customers by performing essential cleaning duties. The role is full-time, 2nd shift, Monday through Friday.

• Perform all cleaning duties for facilities using provided ServiceMaster products, tools, and procedures
• Cleaning duties include sweeping, mopping, dusting, trash removal, restroom sanitation, moving furniture and equipment, etc.
• Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment
• Use of provided and proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) where required
• Open and lock facilities, enable and disable security systems as required
• Contribute to the work environment with a pleasant demeanor and by being in uniform, reliable, dependable, and on time
• Demonstrate respect and understanding for co-workers and customers

Requirements

• 1-2 years experience as a custodian, janitor, or housekeeper is a plus but not required
• Experience working for a professional janitorial company, office complex, hotel, hospital, or school is a plus
• Ability to read cleaning instructions and follow task lists
• Ability to differentiate between cleaning products and uses as trained

Physical Demands

• Constant (up to 100%) standing, walking, pushing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, twisting, reaching overhead, reaching forward
• Must be able to lift and/or carry 25 lbs

Schedule

Shift: Monday-Friday, 3.5 hours per day. Options available to add additional hours.
