Janitorial Supervisor- 1st Shift

This position reports to the Senior Operation Manager and is responsible for activities under the direction and guidance of the Custodial Manager.

Responsibilities

• Overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of employees within the shift and assigned buildings
• Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the Company’s policies and applicable State and Federal laws
• Assist in managing the overall activities of a project(s) and supervise the project crew
• Coordinate services activities for assigned buildings to ensure services are performed as contracted and meet customer specifications
• Maintain and monitor work schedules of all shift personnel, including preparation and submission of weekly payroll time sheets
• Establish and maintain work performance standards
• Conduct quality assurance checks and manage materials inventory and equipment, including key controls
• Perform snow removal services
• Resolve on-site services delivery problems
• Participate in ongoing management and technical skills development training programs, including safety and safety site committee
• Conduct orientation of new employees and develop employees’ skills and abilities
• Handle conference room setups and internal moves as needed
• Maintain effective ongoing customer relations
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• 1–3 years of supervisory experience
• Up-to-date knowledge of cleaning practices and procedures
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to interact effectively at all levels
• Fluent in English and Spanish
• Motivated and proactive individual
• Background check required

Pay

$29.42 – $34.615 per hour
