Janitorial Porter

About the role

Kellermeyer Bergensons Services (KBS) is the largest privately held provider of facility services in North America, servicing over 2 billion square feet of space daily across retail, industrial/logistics, healthcare, education, manufacturing and more. This hourly, non‑exempt Porter position is located at 75 N 2260 W, Hurricane, UT 84737‑2034 and offers the opportunity to join a fast‑paced, growing team with leadership potential.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent cleaning services while interacting with customers and prioritizing work based on their daily needs
• Work in high‑volume, heavy‑traffic sites or as an on‑site individual crew member
• Maintain excellent customer relations while executing customer requests and meeting daily janitorial duties
• Demonstrate broad knowledge of cleaning and janitorial processes
• Use strong customer service skills and lead/provide solutions to various problems
• Perform other responsibilities as directed by management

Requirements

• Ability to lift and move totes up to 49 pounds
• Frequent walking in and around the facility throughout the shift
• Ability to stand and walk for up to 10‑12 hours
• Ability to carry out detailed or written instructions
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating/maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, and chemical handling documents (generally in English; Spanish where state‑required)
• Effective communication with internal and external customers
• Use of KBSPresence mobile timekeeping software (download and use the app on a personal device for clock‑in/out, breaks, training, and employment‑related information)
• Cell phone reimbursement provided in accordance with local laws for work‑related device use

$16.0 per hour – $18.0 per hour

Shifts available: 11:30 am – 1:30 pm (part‑time, fewer than 30 hours per week)
