About the role

The Porter position is available at Kellermeyer Bergensons Services (KBS), a leading provider of facility services in North America. This role involves providing excellent cleaning services, interacting with customers, and maintaining customer relations.

Responsibilities

• Provide cleaning services in high-volume and heavy traffic sites
• Prioritize work based on customer daily needs
• Execute customer requests and meet daily janitorial duties
• Maintain excellent customer relations
• Lead and provide solutions to various problems
• Perform other responsibilities as directed by manager

Requirements

• Able to lift and move totes up to 49 pounds
• Walk frequently throughout the shift
• Stand and walk for up to 10-12 hours
• Carry out detailed or written instructions
• Read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and chemical handling sheets
• Communicate effectively with internal and external customers
