Janitorial Porter

About the role

The Porter position is available for those seeking to join a fast-paced, growing, and dynamic team at Kellermeyer Bergensons Services (KBS). KBS is the largest privately held provider of facility services in North America, serving over 2 billion square feet of space daily.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent cleaning services, often requiring interaction with customers and prioritizing work based on customer needs.
• Work in high-volume and heavy traffic sites, or as an onsite individual crew member, ensuring successful daily customer interaction and fulfillment of related requests.
• Maintain excellent customer relations while executing customer requests and meeting daily janitorial duties.
• Show a broad knowledge of cleaning and janitorial processes and possess excellent customer service skills.
• Lead and provide solutions to various problems as directed by managers.

Requirements

• Able to lift and move totes up to 49 pounds.
• Must be able to stand and walk for up to 10-12 hours throughout the shift.
• Able to carry out detailed or written instructions.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, and safe handling for chemicals sheets/documents (generally in English; may have in Spanish where state required).
• Effective communication skills with both internal and external customers.

Pay

$16.9 per hour

Schedule

• Friday 4pm to 8pm, Saturday 4pm to 8pm, Sunday 3pm to 7pm
• Friday 4pm to 8pm, Saturday 4pm to 8pm, Sunday 3pm to 7pm
