Janitorial Lead

About the role

Supervise, train, and work alongside crew performing daily cleaning of mall common areas, including restrooms, food court, and other public areas.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and train cleaning crews
• Ensure adherence to cleaning schedules and standards
• Oversee the maintenance and repair of cleaning equipment
• Handle customer inquiries and complaints
• Coordinate with other departments for facility needs
• Assist in emergency situations and after-hours coverage

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age with high school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of one year of supervisory experience
• Bilingual Spanish is preferred
• Successful completion of a background investigation and drug screen
• Effective communication skills with customers, patrons, and employees
• Excellent written, verbal, and customer service skills
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
• Strong attention to detail and reliability
• Possess the integrity and ability to work independently and/or collaboratively
• Experience in operations, diagnostics, and maintaining HVAC/chiller systems
• Strong maintenance skills and computer proficiency
• Professional appearance and conduct
• Willingness to work hands-on and adapt to variable shift hours
• Flexible and adaptable to changing requirements
• Solid knowledge of OSHA and safety standards
• Ability to operate machinery and perform physical tasks
• Reliable transportation
