Janitorial Crew Lead

Responsibilities

• Perform site crew tasks and ensure they are fully executed at the site.
• Interact with clients to provide professional and prompt customer service as needed.
• Provide direction and task coordination for assigned crew members.
• Ensure crew members understand and are knowledgeable of their responsibilities under each policy.
• Collaborate with the supervisor or zone manager to assist with new hires and training.
• Aid the supervisor or zone manager with interviews and training.
• Motivate the crew; interact regularly with crew members to provide support and clarity, leading by example.

Requirements

• Experience in janitorial operations and distribution center environments is preferred.
• One to three years of experience in a lead/supervisory role.
• Ability to read and interpret documents related to safety rules, operating instructions, and chemical handling.
• Familiarity with OSHA requirements, safety guidelines, and forklift operations.
• Customer service-oriented, friendly, and positive demeanor.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
• Proficiency in English and Spanish (where state required).
