Janitorial and Grounds Utility Worker

About the role

The Janitorial and Ground Utility Worker position is responsible for providing janitorial, housekeeping, and custodial functions at Goodwill's Opportunity Campus. Duties include maintaining the campus facilities in accordance with Goodwill's brand, safety standards, and stakeholder expectations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the campus including common areas, restrooms, and storage areas.
• Clean and maintain grounds, including mowing lawns, trimming bushes, and removing debris.
• Perform basic maintenance tasks such as fixing simple electrical issues and minor plumbing repairs.
• Ensure compliance with Goodwill's safety policies and procedures.
• Assist with special events and projects as needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in janitorial or similar roles preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Knowledge of basic first aid and CPR.
