ZACHRY is seeking an experienced Janitor for CHENIERE. TWIC card and driver license required.
About the role
Provides cleaning of all buildings, including operational facilities within the plant. Stocks cabinets, refrigerators, and other areas of the plant and buildings with supplies and food items. Cleans and organizes materials and offices around the facility.
Responsibilities
- Dusting, sweeping, and mopping of floors
- Emptying trash cans
- Carrying trash and other disposables to outside trash dumpsters
- Cleaning bathrooms and kitchen/breakroom areas, including microwaves, tables, fixtures, and chairs
- Cleaning glass windows
- Cleaning entry and exit rugs
- Lifting, carrying, and holding trash, cleaning supplies, and tools (e.g., mops, buckets, vacuums)
Requirements
- Minimum 1–3 years of janitorial experience
- Good reading comprehension
- Ability to work with others as a team player
- Good communication skills with co-workers and supervisors
- Commitment to Zachry values and safety rules and regulations
- Reliable transportation
- Flexibility to work as needed
- Valid driver license and clean MVR
Physical Demands
- Large amounts of standing, walking, bending, squatting, and lifting
- Talking and hearing to communicate
- Use of arms and hands to grab, hold, turn, push, and pull objects, materials, controls, and tools
- Lifting, carrying, and moving up to 50 lbs
- Occasional climbing of stairways
- Vision abilities including focus, depth perception, color recognition, and peripheral vision
- Wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) such as hard hat, safety glasses/goggles, ear plugs/muffs, masks/respirators, safety vests, gloves (rubber, coated), and steel-toe boots
Work Environment
- All weather conditions, ranging from warm/hot to cool/cold, with occasional rain
- Moderate to high noise levels
- Job site contains light to heavy equipment vehicles, small to large equipment, materials, communication equipment, and tools
- People standing, walking, sitting, signaling, and talking
- Bells, whistles, and alarms
Schedule
40 hours per week, Monday–Friday, 3:00 PM–11:30 PM (5-8’s schedule).
